To reach my 60 FPS goal, I have to do a bunch of optimizations and timeslice tricks. I guess not all AI drivers will have a serious AI.
Look at Mario Kart DS, all karts just follows a driveline. Even when colliding with the player, they just follow (another?!) precomputed path.
I never noticed that the AI karts collide with another AI kart.
